This is an annual tradition since 1988, Christmas in Davidson kicks off the holiday season offering the young and young-at-heart three magical nights of holiday family fun! As the largest and most popular Davidson event, Christmas in Davidson will immediately put you into the holiday spirit. With an estimated attendance of 30,000+ each year, Christmas in Davidson offer you and your loved ones the opportunity to make holiday memories. No other area event generates as much excitement and community goodwill.
Take a ride on the trolley, stroll down the beautiful and picturesque Main Street, start your holiday shopping early at the many wonderful and unique specialty shops, take a journey through the Giving Tree Village on the Village Green and enjoy a wide variety of entertainment on the Library Stage and the South Main Square Stage. Be sure to visit the breath taking Live Nativity offered nightly by Davidson United Methodist Church. Take the little ones for that all important visit with Santa and then sit in on Story Time with Mrs. Claus. Visit the many participating Davidson businesses who will be offering everything from reindeer food and art projects for the kids to live music and complimentary beverages. Enjoy the find foods and beverages at the many fantastic restaurants Davidson has to offer and also enjoy the treats offered by our Christmas in Davidson food vendors as well. Make sure to jump over to South Main Square and be treated to live entertainment, fine art and more while enjoying the mouth watering foods at the fine restaurants at South Main Square.
